Melody is a dedicated dental professional focused on education and student success. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Dental Hygiene and Biology from Northern Arizona University and has built a diverse career spanning clinical practice, public health, and education.

Melody has an extensive background in dental hygiene education, teaching both clinically and didactically. Her clinical instruction spans from Pre-Clinic to Senior Clinic, guiding students as they develop essential skills and confidence in patient care. In the classroom, she has taught Community Oral Health and Research, Oral Pathology, and Local Anesthesia, focusing on active learning and student engagement. She currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at a dental hygiene program in the Phoenix area.

In 2020, Melody joined StudentRDH as a School Success Coordinator, where she plays a role in supporting dental hygiene programs and students as they prepare for their board exams. She values education, mentorship, and creating meaningful partnerships that contribute to the growth of future dental hygienists. Melody is committed to ensuring students have the tools, knowledge, and confidence to excel in both their academic and professional careers.

A Phoenix native, Melody enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. Their busy household includes two dogs, two cats, and a couple of fish. Outside of dentistry, she loves trying new recipes, gardening, and taking road trips to San Diego to spend time on the beach.
