Lisa is an inspiring and motivating educator having taught hundreds of live and streaming CE courses to healthcare professionals over her career. She is highly published having written courses, educational pieces, and white papers for Access, Canadian Dental Journal, Dental Economics, Dental Learning, Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, Medicom, Penn Well, RDH, and StudentRDH. Her first full-length textbook “Power Instrumentation for the Dental Professional” was released in 2023 published by Jones & Bartlett.

Lisa graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry and a master's degree in healthcare administration from Ohio University. She has been in higher education since 2012 and has served as a dental hygiene and dental assisting program director, academic chair, and clinic lead for 3 institutions over her career.
