Dana is a dedicated dental hygiene educator with over a decade of experience in the field. She graduated from UT Health San Antonio and spent five years in clinical practice before transitioning into education. Over the past five years, she has taught at three different dental institutions, sharing her expertise with future generations of dental hygienists.

As the founder of Dental Hygiene Basics, an educational company committed to supporting dental hygiene students through education and scholarships, Dana aims to award $100,000 in scholarships by 2035. Her work focuses on empowering students and building a community of hygienists helping aspiring hygienists.

In addition to her role as an educator and business owner, Dana serves as a public health hygienist and a CDCA examiner. She is passionate about mentorship and dedicates time to tutoring students who have previously been unsuccessful on the national boards.
